Intake consultation fees: $150
Service
Price
Intake Session - 1-hour
This is a compulsory session. I meet with parents/caregivers to gain background information about the child.

Assessment - 45 mins
This is a session with the child to observe their developmental levels, abilities, and social/emotional wellbeing. These assessments assist in planning the intervention process.

School assessments and teachers’ discussion - 1-hour
If need be, I can observe your child in their school environment and discuss behaviours with their educators.

Play therapy session - 45 minutes
These sessions are broken down into 45 minutes with child and therapist, and 15 minutes for note-taking.

Discussion meetings - 30-minutes to 2-hours
Throughout your child’s therapy, I’ll organise one on one meetings with parents/caregivers, other therapist, allied health support workers etc. to discuss progress, re-evaluate goals and offer support.

Filial Therapy Sessions
Intake Session
This is a compulsory session. I meet with parents/caregivers to gain background information about the child. Goals are discussed and set.

Family Assessment
Drawing on information from the intake session, a family assessment is set up. All family members are included, and with discussion between therapist and family, the most beneficial and appropriate assessment is implemented.

Training
Each Filial skills is taught and practised with parents and therapist. Parets are supported to practise each skill use role modelling techniques. Training generally takes 3 hours. This can be done in one 3-hour session or broken up into smaller 1-hour sessions over numerous days.

One on one observation/supervised sessions
Child and parent have supervised play sessions with therapist. Parents are able to practise the skills taught in training in a 20 min play session. Afterwards, time is dedicated to parent and therapist to discuss the play skills and individualised feelings, development and progress.

Travel Cost
Labour costs
This is charged as time travelled to and back from any of the above appointments. Travel to appointments is capped at 30 minutes and travel back from appointments is capped at 30 minutes. Any time travelled over 60 minutes will not be charged.

*The maximum time you will be charged is 60 minutes
Non Labour costs
This will be charged for parking fees, tolls and running cost of my vehicle to and from all the above appointments. This is capped at 30 kilometres there and 30 kilometres back and any travel after that is not charged. The maximum kilometres that can be charged will be 60 kilometres.
95 cents per kilometre there and back
*The maximum you will be charged is 60 kilometres.
Cancellation Policy
50% of agreed hours will be charged if less than 24 hours cancellation notice is given, or 100% of agreed hours will be charged if less than 8 hours cancellation notice is given.
How Payments are Accepted
Direct payments on the day via EFTPOS. My Plan Management Agency direct payments within 7 days of receiving invoice.
Terminating Agreements
If you wish to terminate your agreement with Bayside Play Therapy, we request a 14 days’ notice period.
